Divination & Conversation Data

  • Questions you submit for divination readings

  • Full AI conversation history (message content, timestamps, metadata)
  • Notes and annotations you add to readings

  • Tutorial progress and learning activity

Device & Technical Data

  • IP address
  • User agent string (browser type, version, operating system)

Anonymous Tracking

AI Processing Disclosure

8-Bit Oracle uses artificial intelligence to generate divination interpretations. When you request a reading or engage in conversation:

  • Your questions and relevant conversation context are sent to various AI models via OpenRouter, a third-party AI routing service
  • Full conversation history may be included to maintain context and continuity
  • AI requests and responses are logged in our database for service improvement, debugging, and quality assurance
  • Logged data includes the AI provider used, model name, and technical metadata about each request
  • AI providers may process your data according to their own privacy policies

Data Retention

Your data is currently retained indefinitely unless you request deletion. Specific retention details:

  • Divination readings, notes, and tutorial progress can be soft-deleted, meaning marked as deleted but kept temporarily before permanent removal
  • AI conversation logs are retained for service improvement and debugging
  • Email unsubscribe requests set your subscription to inactive but do not delete your email record
  • Analytics data is retained according to the respective analytics provider's policies

Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us at contact@digitalrain.studio. Upon receiving your request:

  • Account data and associated readings will be deleted or anonymized
  • Soft-deleted data (divination history, notes) will be permanently removed
  • Data already shared with third-party AI providers cannot be recalled
  • Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
